Ranges/Cooktops warranty coverage

Yes, our ShieldPlus and ShieldComplete plans cover the parts and components of ranges and cooktops.

We cover the components and parts of covered ranges and cooktops, including gas burners, cooktop elements, ignition system and temperature sensor. The ShieldPlus plan covers up to $4,000 for each covered appliance. The ShieldComplete plan covers up to $7,000 for each covered appliance. And if we can’t repair the covered item, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement. Our standard home warranty plan agreement term is 1 year. You can place your first service request once your plan becomes active on the day of closing.

If we can’t repair your recovered ange/cooktop, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement and remove the defective item.
